Comics In Motion Podcast show

Summary: Well, we've all done it haven't we? Wondered about why no one has ever decided to become a real-life superhero to fight crime and help people? No? Well, after reading Batman: Year One, and young Mark Millar and friends were wondering this and years later he created his character and story, Kick-Ass, to explore what might happen if someone did. Despite the fact the comic book only hit the shelves in 2008, the movie rights were snapped up quickly and brought to the screen by Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman, who we've discussed previously with Kingsman. The violent nature of the movie, couple with some colourful language from a young Chloë Grace Moretz, led to some negative reviews, but generally was a critical and commercial success. But what did our hosts make of it? Some movie details: IMDB rating: 7.6 Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score: 81% There are SPOILERS! So if you haven't seen the movie, please go see if and then come back for the review.  Email the show at ComicsInMotionPodcast@gmail.com or tweet us at https://www.twitter.com/ComicsInMotionP.
