Summary: It's no shock that this season of The Flash has been a bit of a disappointment and the finale was never going to change that. The main story in this episode leaves a lot to be desired but there was some good things. This entire season has done a good job of developing characters and setting them up for season 5. It's been clunky but still the development is there. It also seems like they've been doing a lot of setting up for Season 5 (From Dawn...I mean "Nora" to the mysterious writing Barry/Nora/Wells have all done). While it might not have saved this season, it's possible that Season 5 will be 100% on the right track because of this kind of setup.
