But then, both had very public troubles until they ultimately redeemed themselves across town, in new uniforms, and were world champs again. Darryl Strawberry and Doc Gooden came up to the Major Leagues, taking the world by storm as members of the New York Mets, and eventually made their way to the cross-town rival New York Yankees.
