Softy and Dick H2 - When will the A's cool off? / Larry Scott on the state of the Pac-12 / Textimonials

Dave 'Softy' Mahler and Dick Fain show

Summary: The M's win yesterday, but so do the A's, and suddenly Oakland is only 1.5 games back. They've been relentless, with a .787 win percentage in their last 33 games. They've got a tough schedule ahead in the next few weeks, but the M'd do too. The M's have had a horrible month offensively, and having Cano's bat back in the lineup is going to be important. One thing to keep in mind though, even after all of this, the M's are still ahead. If the M's pick it up a little and/or the A's start to regress to the mean, Seattle will start pulling away again and everything will be fine. We spoke to Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott at Media Day yesterday. He tells us how he feels the conference is doing, and some of his responses might just anger you.
