EP. 24 - ALEX ALBRITTON- A STORY OF COMPASSION FOR ORPHANS AND WIDOWS- A TRUE THANKSGIVING STORY

The Mommy Project show

Summary: El Salvador, Guatemala, and Uganda-  Alexandra Lea Albritton shares her story on The Podcast Project.  A 20 year old who has a heart for the downtrodden, the impoverished, the lonely. In a time when thankfulness and gratitude should be served up in heavy doses along with the American turkey and pie- Alex’s story reminds me of how much is needed in other parts of the world. As I gather around the table surrounded by family and friends, I will be joyful at heart, and admonished to serve. This Thanksgiving- I challenge each one of us to serve one person in our community who is lonely, lost, or in need. Let us Give Thanks, and go on an Adventure!   Books Mentioned: Pursuing  Justice Half the Sky A Mile Wide By Brandon Hatmaker  Ministries discussed: James Place HEAL Ministries.  Hope Street Ministries in Monroe, La.
