Summary: Great Lakes Brewery was founded in Brampton, Ontario in 1987. They produced two beers using malt extract that were packaged in 1-litre plastic bottles. In 1990 they made the switch to all-grain brewing and a year later moved the brewery to its current location off the Queen Elizabeth Way in Etobicoke, Ontario.
