Growing up in the small upstate New York village of Endicott (best known as the "Birthplace of IBM"). We spoke of Earl Sweathship and Jimmy Kimmel, seeing The Beatles at Shea Stadium (and The Worlds Fair, on the same day), his early, yet brief mentorship by John Cage, his time playing the Blues in L.A. in the early 80's (when it's often been reported he's stopped making music and disappeared), among much more.
