Summary: On January 15, 2011, BCCIC met with Daniel Fama to discuss his work in international development. Daniel Fama, 23 (Langley) plans volunteer trips for over 80 students at Trinity Western University, placing them with local and international organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, The Mustard Seed homeless shelter in Calgary, and the Bay Area Rescue Mission in San Francisco. He also volunteers in Uganda. Krissi Bucholtz, 20 (Surrey) is the Executive Director of the People's Foundation for Sierra Leone, an organization she founded in 2009 to provide at-risk youth from the West African country with an opportunity to attend university.
