If You're Not Ready You're Perfect - Part 5

Church on the Move Podcast show

Summary: God didn't just save you from something, He saved you for something. "What God has called you to do, He has graced you to do." - Matthew Henry 1 Peter 4:10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. 1 Corinthians 12:11 It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have. - Deep fulfillment - Other people confirm it - Receive your Spiritual Gifts We undervalue our own gifts
and overvalue the gifts of others 1 Corinthians 12:12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form
one body, so it is with Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:15-16 15 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. We overvalue our own gifts
and undervalue the gifts of others 1 Corinthians 12:21 The eye cannot say to the hand,
“I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 1 Corinthians 12:24-25 24 But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. Develop your Spiritual Gifts 2 Timothy 1:5-6 5 I remember your genuine faith, for you share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you. 6 This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. Matthew 25:26-29 26 But the master replied, "You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I harvested crops I didn’t plant and gathered crops I didn’t cultivate, 27 why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it." 28 Then he ordered, “Take the money from this servant, and give it to the one with the ten bags of silver.” 29 To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. 1 Peter 4:10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.
