Activate the power of revival by being instant in prayer. Acts 3:1-9 1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, "Look on us." 5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. 6 Then Peter said, "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leading, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God. Activate the provision of revival by putting God first. Matthew 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all of these other things shall be added unto you. Luke 6:38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. 2 Corinthians 9:10 For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Activate the purpose of revival by following your flow of concern. Romans 1:8-13 8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world. 9 God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching the gospel of His Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you 10 in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by God's will the way may be opened for me to come to you. 11 I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— 12 that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith. 13 I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that I planned many times to come to you (but have been prevented from doing so until now) in order that I might have a harvest among you, just as I have had among the other Gentiles. Be instant in prayer Put God first Follow the flow of concern ... and the exceeding abundantly of true revival will kick in!

The clarity of Scripture Psalm 19:8 NLT "The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living." 2 Chronicles 34:14-19 TLB 14 One day when Hilkiah the High Priest was at the Temple recording the money collected at the gates, he found an old scroll that turned out to be the laws of God as given to Moses! 15 "Look!" Hilkiah exclaimed to Shaphan, the king's secretary." See what I have found in the Temple! These are the laws of God!" 16 Hilkiah gave the scroll to Shaphan, and Shaphan took it to the king, along with his report that there was good progress being made in the reconstruction of the Temple. 17 "The money chests have been opened and counted, and the money has been put into the hand of the overseers and workmen," he said to the king. 18 Then he mentioned the scroll and how Hilkiah had discovered it. So he read it to the king. 19 When the king heard what these laws required of God's people, he ripped his clothing in despair. He read it. Repentance - God's Word brings us to repentance. Hebrews 4:12-13 NLT 12 For the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before His eyes, and He is the one to Whom we are accountable. Power - God's Word gives us power. Jeremiah 23:29 NLT "Does not my word burn like fire?" says the Lord. "Is it not like a mighty hammer that smashes a rock to pieces?" 2 Chronicles 34:29-33 ISV 29 The king sent word to gather all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem. 30 Then the king went up to the Lord's Temple, accompanied by the men of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the priests and descedants of Levi, and everyone else from the most important to the least important, and he read out loud all the words of the book of the covenant that had been found in the Lord's temple. 31 While standing in his appointed place, the king made a public covenant with the Lord to follow the Lord, to keep His commandments, His testimonies, and His statutes, and to do so with all of his heart and soul, and to carry out what was written in the covenant contained in the book. 32 He also made everyone who was present in Jerusalem and Benjamin to stand in agreement with him. As a result, the inhabitants of Jerusalem reconfirmed the covenant of God, the God of their ancestors. 33 Josiah also removed all the detestable things from the territories that belonged to the people of Israel, and made everyone who lived in Israel to serve the Lord their God. For the rest of his life, they didn't abandon their quest to follow the Lord God of their ancestors. Set apart - God's Word sets us apart. John 17:17-20 ISV 17 "Sanctify them by the truth. Your word is truth. 18 Just as you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 It is for their sakes that I sanctify myself, so that they, too, may be sanctified by the truth. 20 I ask not only on behalf of these men, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their message. 2 Kings 23:25 GNT There had never been a king like him before, who served the Lord with all his heart, mind, and strength, obeying all the Law of Moses; nor has there been a king like him since. What will you do with it?

1. God is holy. (Absolutely pure) 2. God is omnipotent. (All powerful) 3. God is just. (Equitable in His dealings) 4. God is sovereign. (Above and independent of all others) 5. God is omnipresent. (Everywhere present at once) 6. God is omniscient. (All knowing) 7. God is love. (Has the best interests of all His created beings in mind at all times) Traditionally, Protestant theologians have highlighted four essential characteristics of Scripture: 1. Sufficiency 2. Clarity 3. Authority 4. Necessity Sufficiency - The Scriptures contain everything we need for knowledge of salvation and godly living. We don't need any new revelation from Heaven. Clarity - The saving message of Jesus Christ is taught in the Scriptures and can be understood by all who have ears to hear it. We don't need an official magisterium to tell us what the Bible means. Authority - The last work always goes to the Word of God. We must never allow the teachings of science, of human experience, or of church councils to take precedence over Scripture. Necessity - General revelation is not enough to save us. We cannot know God by means of personal experience and human reasoning. We need God's Word to tell us how to live, who Christ is, and how to be saved. God's Word is final God's Word is understandable God's Word is necessary God's Word is enough 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly-equipped for every good work. No prophet, no angel, no being in Heaven or Earth can show us God any more completely than Christ! No redeemer will come after Him There is no new revelation needed than what the Bible teaches about Him! If redemption is complete, then revelation is complete!

Isaiah 46:9-10 NLT 9 "For I am God- I alone! I am God, and there is no one else like Me. 10 Only I can tell you what is going to happen even before it happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish." God never wishes wrong! Malachi 3:6 NLT "I am the Lord, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already completely destroyed." Malachi 3:7 NLT "Ever since the days of your ancestors, you have scorned My laws and failed to obey them." God is saying, "You moved. I did not." Matthew 16:13-18 NLT 13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" 14 "Well," they replied, "some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets." 15 Then He asked them, "Who do you say I am?" 16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God." 17 Jesus replied, "You are blessed, Simon son of John, because My Father in Heaven has revealed this to you. 18 You did not learn this from any human being. Now I say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it..." You will never develop stability until you learn to hear God's voice! Matthew 17:1-6 NLT 1 Six days later Jesus took Peter and the two brothers, James and John, and led them up a high mountain. 2 As the men watched, Jesus' appearance changed so that His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became dazzling white. 3 Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared and began talking with Jesus. 4 Peter blurted out, "Lord, this is wonderful! If you want me to, I'll make three shrines, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." 5 But even as he said it, a bright cloud came over them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is My beloved Son, and I am fully pleased with Him. Listen to Him." 6 The disciples were terrified and fell face down on the ground. We pick and choose the parts of the Bible we want to obey and blow off the rest! 2 Peter 1:16-21 NLT 16 For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the power of our Lord Jesus Christ and His coming again. We have seen His majestic splendor with our own eyes. 17 And He received honor and glory from God the Father when God's glorious, majestic voice called down from Heaven, "This is My beloved Son; I am fully pleased with Him." 18 We ourselves heard the voice when we were there with Him on the holy mountain. 19 Because of that, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. Pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a light shining in a dark place- until the day Christ appears and His brilliant light shines in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophets themselves or because they wanted to prophesy. 21 It was the Holy Spirit who moved the prophets to speak from God. The text of scripture, according to Peter, carries the same weight as the words of Jesus did when He spoke them physically on this earth! People don't want truth to be fixed!

This will be the best year of your life if it's the best year of your life spiritually. The best year of your life spiritually won't just happen accidentally. Isaiah 40:3-4 3 Listen! Breakthrough - a sudden dramatic and important advance God's voice becomes the clearest when we are in distress! "God whispers to us in our pleasure, but He shouts to us in our pain." - C.S. Lewis Proverbs 20:30 HCSB Lashes and wounds purge away evil, and beatings cleanse the innermost parts. When your pain gets worse than your fear, then you change. Psalm 77:2 When I was in distress, I sought the Lord. 1 Chronicles 14:8-11 8 When the Philistines learned that David had been made king of Israel, they mobilized all of their forces against him, to attack and enslave him but David heard the news, and he moved to his fortified place. 9 Then the Philistine army moved in and spread out across the entire valley. So David sought the Lord in prayer." 10 He asked, "Should I go fight these Philistines? Will You give them over to me?" The Lord replied, "Yes, go ahead. You can certainly count on Me to give you the victory." 11 So David went out and He defeated them. Then David said, "I watched the Lord break through. I watched the Lord break through my enemies like a mighty flood." So he named the place, "The Lord Broke Through!" Never fight a battle without asking God first! It is the Lord we seek - not the breakthrough! 2 Chronicles 19:4 HCSB Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem, and once again he went out among the people from Beersheba to the hill country of Ephraim and brought them back to Yahweh, the God of their ancestors. Satan attacked him, not because he was doing wrong, but because he was doing good! 2 Chronicles 20:1-4 1 After this, the Moabites and Ammonites, together with some of the Meunites, came to fight against Jehoshaphat. 2 People came and told Jehoshaphat, "A vast number from beyond the Dead Sea and from Edom has come to fight against you; they are already in "Hazazon-tamar" (that is - Engedi) 3 Jehoshaphat was afraid, and he resolved to seek the Lord. 4 Then he proclaimed a fast for all Judah, who gathered to seek the Lord. They even came from all the cities of Judah to seek Him Fasting is a temporary renunciation of something that is in itself good, like food, in order to intensify our expression of need for something greater; namely God and His work in our lives. 2 Chronicles 20:22-24 HCSB 22 The moment they began their shouts and praises, the Lord set an ambush against the Ammonites, Moabites, and the inhabitants of Mount Seir who came to fight against Judah, and they were defeated. 23 The Ammonites and Moabites turned against the inhabitants of Mount Seir and completely annihilated them. When they had finished with the inhabitants of Seir, they helped destroy each other. 24 When Judah came to a place of overlooking the wilderness, they looked for the large army, but there were only corpses lying on the ground; nobody had escaped.

If you are obsessed with money, you will struggle spiritually. Mark 12:41-44 NIV 41 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny. 43 Calling His disciples to Him, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything- all she had to live on." - Christ was against misplaced priorities! - If you are ignorant about money, you will struggle financially. Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth... 1 Timothy 6:17-18 NIV 17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth... 18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. Matthew 5:6 NIV Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Psalm 107:4-9 NIV 4 Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. 5 They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. 6 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress. 7 He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. 8 Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deed for mankind, 9 for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. Luke 8:43-48 NIV 43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. 44 She came up behind Him and touched the edge of His cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. 45 "Who touched me?" Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you." 46 But Jesus said, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me." 47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at His feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched Him and how she had been instantly healed. 48 Then He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace." The person who has a hungry heart will always reach God's heart. 3 Hungry Hints - Stay at the feet of Jesus and watch what happens. - Decide, "I'm not giving up on _________." - Go ahead and step out in faith, because you just never know.

Being blessed means that you have supernatural power working for you! Romans 5:8 NKJV God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. It requires faith to give the first. No one can take from you what you have chosen to give! John 10:17-18 NIV 17 "The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life- only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord." John 18:6 NIV When Jesus said, "I am He," they drew back and fell to the ground. "I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father." Romans 8:29 NIV For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. Meditation in the Word gives you back the time you give up and more besides. Joshua 1:8a NKJV This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. - Meditation produces God-inspired activity. Joshua 1:8b NKJV For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. - You can want the right thing at the wrong time. Psalm 37:23 NKJV The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in His way. Psalm 1:1-3 NKJV 1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 but His delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law, he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper. Meditation is our way of saying, "Lord, I put my mind into Your hands." How can we put our eternal destiny into God's hands without also trusting Him with our minds? 1 Timothy 5:17-18 NKJV 17 Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. 18 For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain" and, "The laborer is worthy of his wages." Luke 6:38 "Give, and it shall be given unto you..." When you focus first on the quality of what you are exchanging, the quality of what you're receiving will catch up! Colossians 3:23-24 NKJV 23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." The best way for me to love God is to meditate on His Word!

He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself might have first place in everything." God cannot be second! 1 Kings 17:1-4 KJV 1 And Elijah the Tishbite said unto Ahab, "The Lord God of Israel lives, before Whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years but according to my word." 2 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying 3 "Get thee hence by the brook Cherith that is before Jordan. 4 And it shall be that you shall drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there. 1 Kings 17:7 KJV And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land. God uses channels but He's always greater than the channel! 1 Kings 17:8-12 KJV 8 And the word of the Lord came unto him saying, 9 "Arise, get thee to Zarephath and dwell there; behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain you." 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, the widow woman was there gathering sticks; and he called to her and said, "Fetch me, I pray you, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink." 11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, "Bring me, I pray you, a morsel of bread in your hand." 12 And she said, "As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but a handful of meal in a jar, and a little oil in a cruse; I am gathering two sticks that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it and die." You will often lack all you need but you will never be without a seed! 1 Kings 17:13-14 KJV 13 And Elijah said to her, "Fear not; go and do as you said but make me a little cake first and bring it to me, and after make for yourself and your son. 14 For thus says the Lord God of Israel, "The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth." Mark 4:26 KJV So is the Kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground... Matthew 16:24-25 KJV 24 If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life will lose it; and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it. All crosses are temporary! Every death in Christ is followed by a glorious resurrection!

God didn't just save you from something, He saved you for something. "What God has called you to do, He has graced you to do." - Matthew Henry 1 Peter 4:10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. 1 Corinthians 12:11 It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have. - Deep fulfillment - Other people confirm it - Receive your Spiritual Gifts We undervalue our own gifts 
and overvalue the gifts of others 1 Corinthians 12:12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form 
one body, so it is with Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:15-16 15 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. We overvalue our own gifts 
and undervalue the gifts of others 1 Corinthians 12:21 The eye cannot say to the hand, 
“I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 1 Corinthians 12:24-25 24 But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. Develop your Spiritual Gifts 2 Timothy 1:5-6 5 I remember your genuine faith, for you share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you. 6 This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you.
