Daily Devotions For The Deaf show

Summary: We all face conflicts in life. Even Christians do not always agree with each other. In our Bible Reading, Jesus gives us a plan for resolving conflicts with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Verse 15 says, “If your brother or sister in God’s family does something wrong, go and tell them what they did wrong.” This shows us that we need to do something to resolve our conflicts. If going to a brother or sister alone doesn’t solve the problem, then we are to take other Christians with us. And if that doesn’t help, then we are to “treat them as you would treat someone who does not know God or who is a tax collector” (verse 17b). We should not hate that person. Instead we should show them God’s love and grace.
We should work hard to resolve our conflicts with other Christians. God will be pleased when we settle our problems using Jesus’ plan.
