Summary: I do not like to wait! I become upset when I have to wait for a very long time. And sometimes I get angry when I have to wait to do something.
By reading the Bible, God has taught me some lessons about waiting. The verses in our Bible Reading today have helped me be strong while I wait. Verse 31 says, But those who trust in the Lord will become strong again like eagles that grow new feathers. They will run and not get weak. They will walk and not get tired.
I travel a lot so I must wait in a bus station or airport. I know that God does not want me to be upset or angry as I wait. So now I take along a book or magazine to read, watch TV or look through the gift shops.
I also can be impatient when God does not answer my prayers right away. But God forgives me and teaches me more lessons about waiting and being patient.
You can depend on God to help you be patient today!
