Summary: There are a couple more important things to remember about giving. First, giving to God is a beautiful way to worship Him. Giving was a part of the worship experience in the early church. In our Bible reading for today, the believers were happy to give to God and share with each other! In 1 Corinthians 16:2, Paul told the Christians in Corinth, <em>On the first day of every week, each of you should take some of your money and put it in a special place.</em><br> Second, giving to God shows your love to Him. Everything we do as Christians is motivated by love for God and for others. 1 John 3:18 says, <em>My children, our love should not be only words and talk. No, our love must be real. We must show our love by the things we do.</em> God has already shown the full extent of His love. Giving back to God is a marvelous way to show our love for Him in return.<br> Worship God by giving to Him and others. And remember that giving to God shows how much we love Him.
