What happens if it doesn’t happen? Why should we all help with maintenance? Key Points: Summer can be rough in some locations leaving necessary maintenance , where winter prep can be mandatory in other locations. Make sure you want to go back out to do maintenance. Bring along your EGRK, you may need it How often to do geocache maintenance? Helpful Tips: Bring baggie and o-ring replacements when doing maintenance. Make replacements of cache containers that might require full replacement when performing maintenance. You can swap out, making maintenance quicker in the field. Follow your logs to be alerted of any unscheduled maintenance needs. Do’s and Dont’s: Don't put your plastic ammo can in a tree like an acorn. Do schedule regular maintenance at least once a year for your caches.
