Summary: In this episode you will find: A candid conversation regarding Jason Burch and what his MILB experience was like as a gay man. Opening Day rosters are here and Kris Bryant is backed by the MLBPA. Also, Sam actually makes a few good points. Here's what you'll get in this episode: Mike makes a trip down to Florida for Spring Training and reconvenes with former Curve players. The story of Jason Burch, a former MILB pitcher is covered after he publicly came out as a gay man following his career. Burch claimed that he wished he had gone public with his homosexuality during his playing days. It feels as though the game is closer to having an openly gay player in MLB/MILB. In a shocking turn of events the MLBPA stood up for Kris Bryant... and non union member. Could we see change on the horizon for the non-union MILB realm or is this just one instance. Recognizing that minor league players exists is a step in the right direction for MLBPA. Joba the Hut and John Fogerty also make an appearance. Baseball is back so make your plans to get out to an Opening Day, wherever you might be. Thank you again to everyone that has provided feedback about the show.
