Summary: Many people are concerned that things seem to be getting worse in the world. More people are rebelling against God. Some people do not go to church. And many people do not believe in God.<br> This is not the first time in history that these things have happened. In the Old Testament, we learn that the nation of Israel rebelled against God. Our Bible Reading tells us that the Lord appeared to Solomon after he finished building the Lords Temple and his own palace. The Lord said to Solomon, <em>...if my people who are called by my name become humble and pray, and look for me, and turn away from their evil ways, then I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive their sins and heal their land</em> (verse 14).<br> What will happen to us if people continue to rebel and sin against God? Some people think that God will not forgive us. But I believe that if we become humble, pray, seek God and turn away from sin, then God will forgive us and heal our land.<br> Be humble before God today. Ask Him to forgive you.
