Summary: I do not know how many times we find the words praise the Lord in the Bible. But praising God is mentioned many times in the book of Psalms. So it must be a very important thing for us to do!<br> The people who wrote the book of Psalms praised God many times. And they listed many reasons for praising God. Verse 8a of our Bible reading says, <em>The Lord is kind and merciful. He is patient and full of love.</em> We should praise God for His compassion and mercy.<br> Verse 12 gives us another reason we should praise God. <em>And he has taken our sins as far away from us as the east is from the west.</em> This verse tells us that when God forgives our sins, they are gone forever! Verse 14a tells us that God <em>knows all about us.</em> God knew us even before we were born. That is another wonderful reason for praising God.<br> Look through the book of Psalms today. I am sure you will find many more reasons to praise the Lord!
