Mark is an award winning Realtor with 13 years of experience and an interesting background as a former NFL Wide receiver and NFL sports agent. Mark is a graduate of The Virginia Military Institute where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Economics. Mark attended VMI for the purpose of pursuing a naval aviation career. While there he walked on the football team and earned a starting position in his 2nd year and eventually went on to become a consensus All-American, set an NCAA receiving record and become a finalist for the Walter Payton award (the Heisman of division 1 AA football). Electing to pursue an NFL career, Mark gave up naval aviation and entered the NFL draft in 1989. He was drafted to the Pittsburgh Steelers and spent 8 years as a professional football player, playing for the Steelers, Colts, Packers and Redskins Of the NFL as well as a season with the world champion Sacramento surge of the world leg and the San Antonio Texans of the Canadian football league . Following his NFL football career, Mark become an NFL agent until 2000 when he decided to enter the real estate industry. He is now one of the official Realtors of the Washington Redskins and applies his competitive nature to the real estate field. Mark is also a retired member of the US Army Reserve and served his country during Operation Desert Storm. Mark Stock has been recognized on the Real Estate Professional National Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Top Producers list, Top 20 RE/MAX Individual Agents and Top 10 RE/MAX Teams in Virginia. Mark and his wife Andrea have 4 children of which 3 are adopted and have serve d on the Board of a National Adoption Organization.
