Creating Sustainable Killer Content #108

Agent Caffeine | Real Estate show

Summary: We've become a society of content creators, blog post generators and seem to be in this endless scramble to curate.  The time and effort it takes can be excruciating if your trying to run a business, generate income and live a life of purpose. This episode gives us a viewpoint we don't often hear discussed.  What if you take the content you've already built and posted, and re-write it? Update it? Add copy from another writer (giving them full credit, always!) that enhances and expands the meaning, improving the context, while strengthening the original message?  We're talking about making blog posts better overtime and republishing, but in a way that improves their value to your community. Take another look at your curation strategy.  Are you curating to post and then looking for the next piece to curate?  This churn and burn mentality is not only time consuming. It's simply not a smart way to operate.  When you curate for a channel like Twitter, one post is generally not going to hit the audience you need to.  Find out how to get more traction from you posts, more eyeballs and create content that's relevant and meaningful to your audience. We also look closer at Google + and the huge opportunity for building community there. All this with Rebekah Radice of Rebekah Radice.com . She's an enthusiastic social magician who gives you insights on tools & strategies for social & marketing. A few of her favorites are Buffer, Sprout Social, and Hootsuite.  Analytics to look at and whys, a bit about her A/B testing and more about working the curation game to your audiences advantage. There's a lot of great information here, so settle in, hunker down and have a good listen.
