Uncorked 4: Lulu B.

Uncorked show

Summary: After a long, tiring day of helping out family, Lea and Donovan settle in to taste test a dark wine from Lulu B.  Though the company is trying to shy away from the traditional stodginess of wine drinking by catering to the more hip and cool younger crowd, Donovan isn't buying it.  Lea is a bit more forgiving, but they both feel the wine is lacking, though not lacking so much as it tastes like dirt, as they love to say. This particular Lulu B. wine is a Pinot Noir (or as they love to say in the South, Peanot Nor) which, according to the website - "This is a rich, fruit forward style of Pinot Noir with hints of dark berries, black cherries and chocolate. A medium bodied wine with a full, silky finish leaving you wanting more".  Neither of the couple can really pick up a hint of chocolate. Score Lea:  3.5 out of 5 corks Donovan:  2.5 out of 5 corks
