 Uncorked 4: Lulu B. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 36:26

After a long, tiring day of helping out family, Lea and Donovan settle in to taste test a dark wine from Lulu B.  Though the company is trying to shy away from the traditional stodginess of wine drinking by catering to the more hip and cool younger crowd, Donovan isn't buying it.  Lea is a bit more forgiving, but they both feel the wine is lacking, though not lacking so much as it tastes like dirt, as they love to say. This particular Lulu B. wine is a Pinot Noir (or as they love to say in the South, Peanot Nor) which, according to the website - "This is a rich, fruit forward style of Pinot Noir with hints of dark berries, black cherries and chocolate. A medium bodied wine with a full, silky finish leaving you wanting more".  Neither of the couple can really pick up a hint of chocolate. Score Lea:  3.5 out of 5 corks Donovan:  2.5 out of 5 corks

 Uncorked 3: Bell’agio Chianti | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 19:10

Lea and Donovan are back with this short episode, which is short because the wine of choice this go-around isn't necessarily to their liking.  Made famous by the movie Silence of the Lambs, Lea thought it would be a great choice for the show.  As it turns out, Chianti is a dry wine - which in their estimation, really requires food.  Listen in to see their reactions and opinions - especially Donovan's.  :) Score Lea:  3 out of 5 corks Donovan:  2 out of 5 corks

Uncorked 2: Founders Reserve Porto Sandeman | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:03:31

In this episode, Lea and Donovan get a little tipsy as they are pleasantly surprised at the rich and smooth flavor of the Sandeman. Sandeman is an imported wine from Portugal and for this episode, as with pretty much all episodes, it was purchased at Publix in their small town of Tifton, GA. For $20, it's a fantastic wine to have with spicy foods or pizza.  Though it might be considered a "dessert" style wine, the sweetness is subtle while the alcohol content will sneak up on you and kick you in the butt.  Drink responsibly and enjoy this wine! Rating: Lea:  5 out of 5 corks Donovan:  5 out of 5 corks

 Uncorked 1: O’Reilly’s Irish Cream | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 47:34

In this maiden episode, husband and wife team Donovan and Lea Adkisson start their taste testing journey of wines with O'Reilly's Irish Cream.  Donovan's a bit confused as Lea purchased the product from their local Publix - which isn't allowed to sell liquor due to local ordinances.  Donovan soon discovers that this particular version is processed just like the liquor version, but uses wine instead of Irish Whiskey. Listen in as the couple tastes Irish Cream for the first time and the comparisons Lea makes to another type of drink she has had at a restaurant previously.  Donovan seems to handle the drink ok, but something about it gives him a reaction each and every time he takes a drink, not to mention the apparent allergic reaction that starts a few minutes into the taste testing.   Score: Lea:  5 out of 5 corks Donovan:  3.75 out of 5 corks
