The Rebooted Body Podcast: Reprogram Your Body and Mind for Sustainable Fat Loss, Vibrant Health, and Peak Performance show

Summary: Even if you don't think you have addiction or dependency to food or exercise, this is a hard-hitting session about optimizing your emotional health and taking positive steps toward healing any underlying issues that are leaving you less than fulfilled. Just as our goal is to achieve optimal physical health, we want to achieve optimal emotional health as well. Everybody has stuff they have to deal with, no matter how great you think your childhood or past relationships were. If you have an addiction or dependency that you struggle with -- which I define as struggling with food in any manner; the inability to inhibit your actions regarding food -- then let's get to the root of it. And if you have children, this is important from a parenting standpoint to make sure you're doing everything within your power to set them up for future success in these areas. This session was inspired by a listener feedback voicemail and I respond by giving you a list of 10 action steps that will lead you toward healing and ultimately fulfillment. Listen to this session The Action Steps Strive for contentment. Be enough for yourself. Cultivate deeper relationships. Eliminate self criticism. Acknowledge your effort. Schedule time for relaxation. Test for deficiencies and underlying health issues. Do what you love for work.
