Brad is the founder of the literary website Nervous Breakdown and Other People, a twice-weekly podcast featuring interviews with contemporary writers. This interview is a myth-busting exercise. It serves to inform the layman on exactly how much work goes into maintaining a website and the common misconceptions of literary success. As a writer you know that the prospect of making money on a novel is so infinitesimal that sometimes you're forced to do the wrong things for the right reasons.
