Summary: What is the Foundational Healing Pyramid and how will it help me? The Foundational Healing Pyramid is made up of five areas that help me stay focused in my efforts each and every day as I fight back and kick chronic pain in the teeth. The Foundational Healing Pyramid consists of five areas these are: Psychology Nutrition Exercise Sleep External Helps Psychology Psychology is our thoughts, feelings, emotions, and how they shape and mold our day-to-day fight with chronic pain. Whether we are happy or sad, whether we are energized or worn out, whether we are complacent or optimistic are all a part of our psychology. A positive mental psychology is our most powerful tool in our fight against chronic pain. This is how we are able to do the things that we do. To make the positive choices that we need to make, and overall overcome our chronic pain. Nutrition Nutrition is the physical building block that make up our ability to fight against our chronic pain. Our chronic pain attacks our physical body. Our physical body therefore needs nutrients in order to fight back. This is done through the Gerson Therapy. Gerson Therapy The Gerson Therapy is my foundational tool that I use to get the nutrition and the good-quality balance of food that I need in my system and my body in order to fight back against chronic pain. Nutrition is all the things that we put into our bodies it is not a "diet". It is everything that we eat; everything that we ingest in our way of living. Nutrition is what gives us the ability to fight back. That gives our bodies the building blocks to overcome. Exercise Exercise is not the same for those of us with chronic pain as it is for the average person. Exercise for us should not be to lose weight or build muscle or look a certain way. Exercise for us those of us fighting severe chronic pain is movement. Movement is exercise! We must move in order to continue our bodies fight against chronic pain. We must move, although it hurts extremely bad, because it is very important. Our muscles, joints, ligaments, and tendons all need movement in order to continue to function and to avoid severe atrophy and weakness. If we become too weak our body cannot fight back against the chronic pain which we have. Therefore exercise in the form of movement is extremely important. Sleep Sleep is the foundational element that allows our bodies to recover from everything that we do throughout the day. Sleep is vitally important for our survival and our ability to become better. We must do all that we can to get the best sleep that we can. Through proper nutrition and exercise our bodies will naturally want to sleep, so that it can recover and become better. That is why nutrition, exercise, and sleep go hand-in-hand. External Helps External Helps is everything that we do to support our body's ability to fight back and kick chronic pain in the teeth. External Helps are such things as doctors, medications, shoes, water purifier,s beds, clothing, and everything else that we use to support our body's ability to heal. Such simple things as shoes or juicers can be vitally important to our body's ability to fight back against our chronic pain. The newest medications and the doctors understanding is not all that there is in this life. We must search out and find all the best External Helps to support our body's ability to heal. In a nutshell the Foundational Healing Pyramid is there to give us an overview of the five areas that we should think about and consider in our day-to-day lives as we fight back against chronic pain and chronic illness.
