Summary: I received news today that "Stand Your Ground" legislation is in the works here in Ohio, so I decided I should talk briefly about what these laws really are. With all the misinformation out there in the wake of the Zimmerman verdict, I thought it was only necessary to give a little bit of background on what it really means when someone invokes "Stand Your Ground".
