On August 1, 2013, Geoff Harper will traverse the volcanic beaches of Iceland's South Coast from Höfn to Reykjavik covering approximately 500 miles in 4 weeks by fatbike. Iceland's South Coast has many ocean inlets and glacial runoffs also the ever present threat of high winds and persistent rain. Geoff will be journaling the expedition with a combination of blog posts and photographs detailing his experiences en route and promoting the equipment provided by sponsors. Geoff joins the show to share his experiences, how he decided to embark on this adventure, preparation, and what he expects.
