'J. Edgar' Reviewed, Ratner Out as Oscar Producer and New DVDs and Blu-rays

Summary: Welcome to our first Tuesday edition of the RopeofSilicon podcast as we are hoping to start doing this each week to not only bring you topics and reviews on Fridays for new and upcoming movies, but hopefully use Tuesday's DVD releases to talk about the new titles coming home as well as some older titles that don't usually make the list of topics. This week, however, also brings a review of Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar, which hits limited theaters tomorrow, Wednesday November 9, and expands this weekend. There is also news regarding Brett Ratner stepping down as Oscar show producer, we bring you a few Oscar predictions now that we've seen J. Edgar and then we switch over into the new DVD and Blu-ray releases.
