E34: Lindsay Burkhart from UST Mamiya | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3392

No. 34: Interview Series: Season 2 Episode 14 I've been with the Ambassador program with UST Mamiya for over a year now, and like I say in this interview, MAN, I'm impressed with the results I'm seeing. Lindsay, who is the Social Media Marketing Manager for UST, was kind enough to hop on the phone and talk a little bit about her history and how she came to work for UST Mamiya.  Then we got into a whole lot of talk about golf shafts! New products such as LIN•Q Purple and Gunmetal. We talked about their flagship product line the RECOIL Shafts and we got an update on the Frequency Putter shafts.  As a Golf Nerd, I enjoyed this interview very much. I am starting to become more enveloped in the tech side of the game and having a guest like Lindsay on who's not only very passionate about the game and her career but she probably the first certified female golf nerd we've had on the show! She knows her stuff, and it was a blast to learn more about UST and her background.  We hope you enjoy this episode and be sure to give UST a follow on their Instagram Account  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/support

 E33: Vegas Golf Courses Rankings Part 2 - #37 thru #24 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3849

No. 33: Special Series: Season 2 Episode 13  First off I want to say we fixed the audio issues from the first episode.  Hopefully, the poor sound hasn't detoured you from tuning in to part two of this series where we rank the Las Vegas Golf Courses. Originally this was going to be a 3 part series, but after going through the editing there was just so much good talk between Joe and me that I didn't want to take much of it out.  This episode takes care of the rankings from #37 to #24. Here's the list:  #37 Bai Hai (60.0)  #36 Angel Park - Palm (61.5)  #35 Angel Parl - Mountain (62.5)  #34 Highland Falls (64.0)  #33 Spanish Trails Country Club (64.0)  #32 Rhodes Ranch (64.5)  #31 Stallion Mountain (66.0)  #30 Wildhorse (66.5)  #29 Desert Pines (69.0)  #28 Bears Best (71.0)  #27 Legacy Golf Club (71.5)  #26 Siena Golf Club (71.5)  #25 Wolf Creek (71.5)  #24 Las Vegas National (73.0) - continues in the next episode  We'll pick it back up in the next episode where this one left off before we knock out the final Top 15 Courses in the final episodes of this series.  So what was meant to be 3 episodes has turned into 4. We think you'll enjoy how it all ends up.  E31: Vegas Golf Courses Rankings: Part 1 - #53 thru #38 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3903

No. 31: Special Series: Season 2 Episode 11 About 6-8 months ago, I noticed a considerable uptick in visits to my Vegas Golf Ranking page on the website. Ever since then, it's been by far the most popular page on The Breakfast Ball. I update it enough that it stays valid, but it had me thinking about recording a show in regards to the same topic. I reached out to Joe from HittinGreens about recording the show with me, and he thought it was a great idea as well.  We did this on a points system and then averaged our two rankings out for a final number.  The points breakdown like this:  GOLF COURSE:  Design - 15pts  Practice Facility - 15pts  Course Conditions - 15pts  Atmosphere - 10pts  The total points possible on the GOLF COURSE section is: 55pts  OTHER FACTORS:  Pro Shop - 15pts  Staff - 10pts  Price - 20pts  Total points on the OTHER FACTORS section is: 45pts  For a grand total of 100pts  We wanted the main ranking to be based on the golf course, and that is why there is a higher value of points available. But, we also know other key factors that go into choosing where to play. Price, for instance, is a MAJOR element in deciding if you'll tee it up or not, and that is why it has the point value it does, but it doesn't exceed the golf course total value.  Here is a list of the courses we talk about in this episode with the ranking number:  #53 Las Vegas Golf Center (29.5)  #52 Painted Desert (33.5)  #51 Durango Hills (41.0)  #50 Sunrise Vista (47.0)  #49 North Las Vegas Par 3 (48.0)  #48 Aliante Golf Club (48.0)  #47 Boulder City Muni (49.0)  #46 Palm Valley (53.5)  #45 Los Prados (54.0)  #44 Las Vegas Golf Club (56.5)  #43 Arroyo Golf Club (56.5)  #42 Desert Willow (57.0)  #41 Eagle Crest (58.0)  #40 The Club at Sunrise (58.5)  #39 Canyon Gate Country Club (59.0)  #38 Angel Park - Cloud 9 (59.5)  We hope you enjoy this episode and be sure to leave us on comment on the @hittingreens Instagram page or also on @thebreakfastball page.  Thanks for listening --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/support

E29: Jordan Bloxham Master Club Fitter | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 5590

No. 29: Interview Series: Season 2 Episode 9 We love it when our friends from Utah venture south and visit us. Not only did we get to spend a beautiful Vegas February day out at Paiute with Jordan Bloxham, but he was also kind enough to make the trek out the BBGB Casa and come hang out with Ryan and me for this episode.  Jordan is a Master Club Fitter at Impact Golf Center in Draper, Utah. It's an indoor training facility that is incredible. We talked a lot about golf and covered some of the current events taking place like the "Distance Issue" from the USGA and RNA and also answered a few questions from the Instagram post I made a few days ago.  Jordan is a stand-up human being and quite a stick. We grateful he took the time to chat with us and showcase his love and knowledge for the game.  E27: Matt's swing changes with guest Stephen Noland | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2716

No. 27: Season 2 Episode 7 Swing changes are a bitch. There's no bigger truth than that! Personally, I've gone through too many and I swore after the last time I started from scratch I was done with them. Then I met Stephen.  @stephen.nolandgolf on Instagram, Stephen has taken me under his wing and together we have logged numerous hours via FaceTime in an attempt to better my golf game. So far, it's working. I've been talking Stavi up for months now and I thought it would be a good time to talk about what we've been up to. With a lot of the country soon to be lifted from the cold weather and allowed to venture out on to our heavenly fairways, I figured a conversation about what we've done to better my game might help some other to seek the advice of a teaching pro as I have. We hope you enjoy what Stephen has to say, he's incredibly talented when it comes to the golf swing and he's quite the stick himself. I believe he won 8 times last year on the AM Tour and also took home Player of the Year honors.  Thanks for listening! -Matt --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/support

E26: Yohan Seo, joins us for some golf talk before we tee'd it up at the Las Vegas Country Club | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1350

No. 26: Season 2 Episode 6 It's one of the best things I've enjoyed about this podcast, meeting new people. Ryan and Yohan have been friends for a while, and Yo made a trip out West for some PGA Tour action and some Vegas golf. We sat down with Yo and @dr.rhoden before our Super Sunday tee time at the Las Vegas Country Club, and I got to see firsthand the beautiful mind of someone obsessed with the game, like Ryan and I are, it was a blast. You can follow Yo on Instagram @ys.golf is his IG handle. We hope you enjoy this short cast. We plan to have Yo on again very shortly to wrap up his golf life and share some outstanding stories as well.  E25: Tim Markison from Athalonz Shoes | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2302

No. 25: Interview Series: Season 2 Episode 5  What a fun episode this was to record. I was joined by the CEO and Founder, Tim Markison, along with his Director of Operations, Jerimiah Johnston, to talk shoes. More importantly, their shoe brand, Athalonz.  Athalonz has made a name for themselves in the sport of Long Driving, and they are looking to take the popularity and success of the WLD Tour and bring their tech to more golfers.  Tim and Jerimiah took some time out of the schedule, to which we are grateful, to talk about;  How the company came to be  How the long drivers found out about their shoes, and  What the future looks like for Athalonz.  It might help that they just inked Champions Tour superstar and overall golf legend Bernhard Langer to a contract!  Be sure to check out Athalonz Shoes Please visit the Athalonz WEBSITE to read more about their shoes and be on the lookout for our review coming soon on The Breakfast Ball. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/support

E24: A quick episode about the changes we've made to the show. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 428

No. 24: Season 2 Episode 4 You have to go through some changes to grow, and that is what we are doing. Two significant changes have taken place over the last 48hrs, and I just wanted to bring everyone up to date on what is going on within the show. The first thing we did was to move the podcasting host over to Anchor. The changeover was a stressful situation, much like moving a website to a new host, but let me tell you I'm thrilled with what Anchor is going to be able to do for the show. I like to give a massive shout-out to BryanGolf for helping me understand the benefits of the hosting relocation. The other thing we did was eliminate the social media channels, except for Facebook, for the show. There was just too much on my plate as far as the social media sites go, and if I'm honest, this is a production that falls under The Breakfast Ball umbrella. So we will be posting all the similar content that was on the Twitter and Instagram accounts, over on the Breakfast Ball social pages. Other than that, nothing has changed. We've upgraded some equipment, and we'll now be able to bring you a better product, and hopefully, that will add to the growth of the show! All the episodes we have recorded are available where you've listened to them in the past, and we've added I think five other formats where you can listen to the show. Thanks again for listening, we love what we're doing with the show and cannot wait to bring you all more content in 2020! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/support

 E23: Golf Chat from the Mercedes-Benz Studio | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1588

No. 23: Season 2 Episode 3 We're testing out some new features for the podcast. We've moved the hosting over to Anchor, and with a lot more accessibility to produce some content, we hope to have more episodes produced and at a faster rate. For this short episode, Ryan and I chatted for a brief car ride as I took him to the airport. We chatted about the upcoming season, we made some Major predictions and we, very briefly, talked about some of the new equipment that's starting to hit the shelves. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/support

E22: Part two with Bryan LaRoach | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4995

No. 22: Season 2 Episode 2 Like the title says, the conversation with Bryan, Me, Ryan, Julien, David, and Joe continues. I can't thank Bryan enough for joining us. It's awesome to get together with people who are incredibly passionate about the industry, and who are doing their part to make the game of golf more enjoyable for others who play this game. We hope you enjoyed this sit-down with him and our other guests. We'll have more with Bryan and hopefully his counterpart once they return to the Vegas Valley in late April for the Battle at The Bay! Next up for the podcast, we have an interview lined up with the CEO of Athalonz Shoes! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/support

 E21: Bryan LaRoache, from @BryanGolf | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3129

No 21: Season 2 Episode 1: We were graced with the presence of the wildly entertaining BryanGolf aka Bryan LaRoche. Bryan was in town to preview Reflection Bay for the upcoming Steez & Teez event; Battle at the Bay. Bryan was kind enough to come over to the BBGB Casa and hang out with Me, Ryan, the CC Boyz; Julien, and David, and we were also joined by Joe from the Instagram account HittinGreens who made his podcast debut. As expected this sit down went WAY longer than expected and we recorded for nearly two and a half hours. I've broken it up into several episodes so where this one falls off the next one will pick right back up. We hope you enjoy it. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/chasingdaylight/support
