Black And Blue is an upcoming film from Sony Pictures that looks pretty gray to me simply because I've scene it somewhere before. Yup, I'm talking about Training Day and another cult classic with a bad cop on top. Check out the latest episode of The Storybored Podcast, and tell me if I'm on point with this one. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/support
Are you a newbie novel writer? Want to keep from writing about dead bodies and the weather on page 1 of your masterpiece? I'd like to invite you to take a scene break from The Storybored Podcast. (You're the real hero for taking on the challenge to write a novel, btw.) Believe that! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/support
Scene it. Bradley Cooper pores out his best/worst drunkerdness in this tale of two shooting stars crossing in the night. Or are they flowers? One blossoms as the other wilts before our eyes. This is the fifth of whiskey episode of The Storybored Podcast. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/support
Pop quiz hotshot: If Aquaman is Thor underwater and Thor is Superman in space, what is Superman? This is fourth episode of The Storybored Podcast. Things are about to get a little wet. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/support
No, I'm not talking about having to sit through two hours of Joaquin Phoenix doing his best Christian Bale imitation from "The Machinist" with a little bit of Travis Bickle on the side, I'm talking about how this movie isn't about anything other than cashing in on mental illness. I haven't seen this one, but I know everything I already need to know about it. Or do I? My guess is that director Todd Phillips will reveal something that will have Batman fans saying: "But Why?" I'll tell you why when you check out the third episode of The Storybored Podcast. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/support
I'm categorizing Ad Astra as Unseen. Why? Because I've already seen this movie somewhere before, deep inside an Asian jungle. Sorry, but I can't stomach two hours of Brad Pitt in every scene, and floating around in space no less. Am I wrong? Is there even just one scene in this vanity project without his mug or monologue? Tommy Lee Jones is a rock star in this one, too! And no ... he's not the drummer for Motley Crue. Much artistic license was used in Tarantino's "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood". Was I the only person who saw The Ending That Never Was? Did you notice what I noticed because you knew what really happened? I'm not talking about allowing the real-life victims to live on in Movieville's fantasy ending, but what was left out in the final shot (bird's eye view). I guess the best question to ask here is: Why was he left out? The Storybored Podcast's first episode has dropped. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/yourstory-or-yourlife/support
