Join us as we slide to the left, and maybe to the right as well, before shuffling back to the studio to tell the everyone that we forgot to bring back souvenirs. This week’s news tried to build a working stargate out of a 1970’s Austin Metro and duct tape. It didn’t go well. Outro by Disasterpiece www.thegeekshow.co.uk

What happens when a genre declines in popularity? Does it disappear, or do fragments of it appear in other story types? Come to think of it, are there any genres that are generally considered useless or defunct? These are the questions that keep us awake at night (well, aside from whether we left the gas on, locked the doors and windows, what was that noise, etc), so we decided to investigate them – and we did it without using and training wheels! Reviews – Spectra (PC), F1 2015 (PS4) outro by disasterpiece www.thegeekshow.co.uk

We finally hit our 11th series, and what better way to kick things off than with a special for one of our favourite conventions – SunnyCon. This year saw no small amount of trials, tribulations, cancellations, and the ever-present forces of nature, but even amongst all of the diversity the team and various others pulled together, and we witnessed something that we don’t normally see at these events – true community spirit. Having survived the weekend that was, we’re joined by Tucky – who gives us an insight into the huge last-minute struggles faced by the team. Outro by Disasterpiece www.thegeekshow.co.uk
