Why are there two criminals seemingly ruining the moment of our Saviors sacrifice? It seems random. Out of place? Why not just Jesus there? Because we are that thief on the cross next to Jesus guilty of our sin… Jesus’ last moment before death was to show what the true Gospel is and how salvation works. There were two responses by two different thieves, we have the same choice in our own lives. To accept Jesus as Savior and we as sinner, or to deny and ridicule His name. We are that thief! The power of the cross is what makes this Friday Good!1) He acknowledged that he was a sinner2) He recognized Jesus as Savior3) He asked Jesus to save Him
