With social media becoming apart of our current culture, expectations of life situations and circumstances can be deceiving. In this episode we share our personal experiences revolving around how we’ve learned to detach ourselves from those expectations and have created our own, in order to remain sane but more than anything in order for our littles to have happy mommies !

Luis is a gay Mexican man sharing his coming out story along with his constant struggles that come with being a gay Mexican man. He shares with us in hopes of providing some sort of guidance in having an open door when raising our children in a strict cultural environment that limits us from the evolving time we are living in.

Sometimes we have to make decisions in life to protect our inner peace, sanity, health, and happiness! Even if those people are family, or even your parents, it is sometimes best to create healthy boundaries, than to remain submerged in toxic environments. God wants us to love one another, but He also becomes angered when we are taken advantage of. Love one another from a distance, and protect your heart, it is the most sacred part of your being!

In this episode she shares her inspo for choosing this slogan to launch her brand! Listen on as she shares the BIGGEST lesson she has learned in the short amount of time since launching her brand !

Mental health is a real thing! Why do we stay quiet about our anxiety, our depression, our frustrations and our mental confusion? Is it because we are afraid to portray weakness? Because it isn’t culturally acceptable? Mamás AF believes in mental health, and we open up our lines of communication for anyone who feels they can’t share their mental struggle!

Throughout our lives we have had many examples of relationships. We have been able to pick and choose which wifey qualities we want to adopt and which we would rather not. Regardless of the type of wives we are, we love wholeheartedly and unconditionally and strive to keep our families together and well. We are raising our littles with a sense of culture, but at the same time teaching them that their gender does not dictate which qualities are acceptable or not.

Everything in our childhoods have influenced us to be who we are today. We have the choice to either allow those experiences to make us or break us. What motherly figures helped influence us? As moms we are constantly trying to be better, we are our biggest critics but at the end of the day we know that we are raising our littles the best way that we know how.
