On this episode, the guys recap the Mavs' 111-97 Game 6 loss to the Clippers, which officially brought their 2019-2020 season to a close. Luka Doncic was amazing while facing elimination for the first time in his career, finishing with 38 points, nine rebounds and nine assists, but wasn't able to overcome the mounting injuries that the Mavs suffered as a whole all season long. Luka Doncic, who was questionable before the game with an ankle injury, ended up starting for the Mavs and played the best game of his young career with 43 points, 17 rebounds, 13 assists and one huge step-back buzzer-beating three-pointer in overtime to give his team the 135-133 win. On this episode, the guys recap the Dallas Mavericks' 130-122 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 3 of their first round series. Despite the Mavs outscoring the Clippers 37-28 in the fourth quarter, it wasn't enough to overcome the second quarter, where the Clippers outscored the Mavs 45-31. Luka Doncic became the first Maverick to ever record a triple double in the playoffs with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, but his night took a turn for the worst when he suffered a nasty ankle sprain, putting his status for Game 4 in question. As good as Porzingis was, and as much as the rest of Doncic's teammates tried to rally in his absence, Kawhi Leonard's dominant performance was just too much to overcome. With the win, the Mavs are still the only team in the entire NBA to have not lost three games in a row. Luka Doncic put up a monster performance in this one, scoring 34 points to go with 20 rebounds and 12 assists. Doncic became the youngest player to ever put up a 30-20-10 stat line. The guys discuss how this Luka performance reminded them of some of Dirk Nowitzki's performances back in the day, where he would just seem to will the Mavs to victory at times.
