Valeria Agosta is owner of family-run Palmento Costanzo in Sicily’s Etna DOC and located in the northern Contrada Santo Spirito in the heart of the Parco Naturelle dell'Etna. Unique to this area are centuries-old pre-phylloxera ungrafted vines. The winery is built into a restored 18th century stone "palmento," a traditional stone winemaking structure, also unique to this region.
