The assaults on Critical Race Theory continue from conservatives practicing racism along with their non-white proxies they have doing some of the dirty work. While Critical Race Theory is an advanced course offered in some colleges, conservatives have falsely made CRT about anything teaching about institutional and societal racism in U.S. history. As I've written before, the attacks are political in nature and a distraction from real issues like poverty wages, unaffordable housing, lack of access to quality healthcare, and now, lack of access to a well-rounded education on the nation's history.  Tonight we will speak with Rodney Pierce, the North Carolina 2019 Social Studies Teacher of the Year about the censorship of components of U.S, History in schools. Mr. Pierce was recently featured by Mother Jones in the article "The Moral Panic Over Critical Race Theory Is Coming for a North Carolina Teacher of the Year".

I. G., the Implications of Death Row Records' Suge Knight, and the Origins of the Los Angeles Police Scandal. Sullivan is an actor, journalist, producer, screenwriter, and author who's hosted a television program on Oprah Winfrey's network and written reports for The Washington Post and Rolling Stone. And, he's a White man. LAbyrinth is his construction of White male LAPD officer Russell Poole's investigations into the murders of officer Kevin Gaines (black male) and Christopher Wallace. Last week Sullivan claimed that the LAPD labored intensely to shield black officers from charges of corruption. After Rodney King's beating and the trial of O.J. Simpson, Sullivan argues the department was sensitive to charges of "crooked cops" and hyper-protective of black officers accused of criminal activity. He continues implicating Suge Knight and Death Row Records in a variety of killings - including Shakur and Wallace's murders, by relying on the rumors of informants and caged convicts. David Kenner's criminal connections are not explored, even though Sullivan describes him as "the brains of the company." In addition to discussing her latest book series focused on Black women, hopefully, we can get her opinion on reporting and opinions coming out for and against world number two tennis pro Naomi Osaka's decision to withdraw from one tennis major and skip another citing self-care reasons. Nomia Oska's father was born in Haiti and like Richard Williams, father of the tennis greats Williams sisters, Serena and Venus, Leonard François taught Naomi and her sister Mari Osaka to play tennis at an early age to prepare them for success in the world of professional tennis, a white-dominated field in terms of the industry hierarchy and ownership. While Serena and Venus have been trailblazers for Black women in professional tennis, some have also said Naomi Osaka is a trailblazer in mental self-care to deal with the media circus that often can be challenging and taxing for Black professional athletes across sports. In Europe, English fans cheered the ball club all the way to the Euro Cup football championship game. The sportsmanship and British good cheer was trashed once the team lost and White Supremacists assigned blame to three black players for missing penalty kicks. White ball games were quickly forgotten when the historic flood struck Germany, leaving dozens dead. In Cuba and South African, non-white protests have disrupted both respective countries. On the Spanish speaking island, Cubans have railed against food shortages and power outages and Covid-19 infections. Internet access was briefly restricted to help quell disturbances this week. In South Africa, former President Jacob Zuma turned himself in to faces charges of corruption during his time in office. It's alleged that his Zuma's supporters subsequently launched days of marauding that's produced more than 180 casualties and violence.
