Her husband, Hayden joined her in the business a year later. Neither had ever thought about doing Network Marketing as they were both pursuing other careers. Emily was a massage therapist rehabbing major weight loss patients and Hayden had just finished up his pre-med degree while working toward a professional football player. But thanks to MLM, not only were they debt free by the age of 26, they’ve now helped more than 60,000 people achieve physical transformations and improved health. Many of those people are also creating wealth and financial freedom. Today we are going to get a valuable history lesson of the MLM profession and learn from the founders of Networking Times magazine, Chris and Josephine Gross! Chris Gross is CEO of Gabriel Media Group and cofounder of Networking Times. With a background in building, real estate, mortgage brokerage, finance, and telecommunications, Chris operated a public company in the nineties, called Consolidated Publishing Group, Inc., which sold and delivered millions of training tools (magazines, books, audio programs, etc.) to network marketers. This company acquired MLM Publishing Group, Inc that published Upline®. In 2001, Chris formed Gabriel Media Group, Inc. and with his wife, Dr. Josephine Gross, cofounded and launched Networking Times magazine, a professional, advertising-free, newsstand educational journal, and Networking University (an online professional certification/educational program). In 2012 Chris joined the board of the Association of Network Marketing Professionals (www.ANMP.com) and in 2013 he became the ANMP’s Vice President. Chris has been a spokesperson for the networking profession at numerous national and international conventions. His favorite speaking topics include The history of network marketing and How to build belief in the network marketing profession, within the direct selling space as well as with the general public. His wife, Josephine is not just the co-founder but the Editor in Chief of Networking Times magazine. However Matt wanted to do his own thing so he went to Baylor University and graduated with a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. He then went out and got a Masters with a plan to earn a PHD and start a private practice. However the massive startup costs and the realization that he was basically buying himself into a job made Matt decide to follow his parents’ footsteps instead and he got involved in network marketing. Today, Matt and his wife are 6 figure earners and they achieved that before they turned 30 years old.

Dr. Mike Okouchi is a 6 figure earner, one of the top leaders in his MLM company while building the business part time. He has a extremely interesting background… Dr. Mike was born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii. He attended Pacific University in Oregon, majoring in molecular & cell biology and was awarded the Murdock research scholar award from Oregon Health Science University. His research was published in a cardiology journal when he was only 18 years old. Dr. Mike later attained his doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences where he graduated in the top 10 of his class. Susan Bouche-Pillon is a concert pianist and music instructor who immigrated from China with her family during her early 20’s. She graduated from the most prestigious music school in the US and received her PHD in piano performance and literature. Life was supposed to be good but Susan found herself working 60 plus hours a week. She was teaching over 50 students a week while at the same time had to rehearse and play in concerts. Sometimes she had to drive 4 hours just to make a living. Most people would envy Susan’s success and her PHD but she was searching for a better life especially since her parents were about to retire and she wanted to help them. And that’s when she discovered network marketing. Susan is also the wife of Aurelien, who was featured in episode 142 about 6 - 7 weeks ago. For those who don’t remember, Aurelien is the crazy French guy who surfs in freezing cold temperatures in the winter.

He’s is a CPA, Tax Attorney and has been training millions of small businesses how to get their taxes down to the legal limit. Sandy has taught tax reduction at many popular seminars such as ones held by Donald Trump, Tony Robbins, T Harv Eker and also spoke at the convention for the National Association of Realtors. He’s also appeared as a tax expert on NBC, ABC, Fox and CNN. Sandy is also a bestselling author of the book “Lower Your Taxes Big Time.” I still remember reading the original version of Sandy’s book when I first started my MLM business in 2003. Not only did that book help me save tons of money through legal tax deductions but it helped build my belief in network marketing. I also used it to train my team and also as a prospecting tool to get my prospects to see the wisdom to start a MLM business. Sandy’s passion today is to educate small businesses about the huge tax breaks available to them and do it in a fun and entertaining way. He’s also one of the creators of this amazing business tool called Taxbot.

Simon Chan is a follower of Jesus Christ, a husband, a father, the founder of MLM Nation, a business coach and online marketer. He’s been involved with the network marketing profession for over 13 years. Simon graduated from Columbia University and had a dream job working for the NBA, the National Basketball Association. He became a very close friend with the first Chinese player to make it to the NBA, Wang Zhizhi. Ricardo Jimenez was a huge baseball fan and started his business journey early at the age of 12 by washing windows in front of Yankees Stadium in the Bronx, NY.
