In our first of those three episodes, we’re going to be talking with up and coming casting duo Amanda Lenker Doyle and Chrissy Fiorilli-Ellington.
Today we chat with Denise Chamian. Denise’s casting work is full of fantastically entertaining projects, such as Minority Report, A Cure for Wellness, Deja Vu, The Maze Runner movies, the Transformer movies, Smoky Mountain Christmas, Eyes Wide Shut, Big Fish, The Man in the High Castle, the list goes on and on.
Today we’re talking with Marsha Goodman, who is a Casting Director, an Animation Director, and probably a huge influence on your childhood. Marsha is responsible for a good many of the cartoons we all know and love. She got her start with DIC at the very beginning, she’s cast and voice directed everything from Inspector Gadget, The Real Ghostbusters, G.I. Joe, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, to Buddy Thunderstruck-- not to mention both the Old School and recent reboot of The Care Bears.
Today we sit down with Casting Director, Baker, Organizer, and head of a Cause For Entertainment, Jessica Sherman.
Robert is known in a way not many casting directors get to be, in front of the camera, thanks to his appearances on two seasons of The Glee Project. But his behind the camera work means that he’s a name you’ve probably seen, if you watch the credit scroll. He’s cast shows like Glee, Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural, American Horror Story, The Exorcist, The Mentalist, Eureka, and many, many more-- and he’s just made his first foray into Producing with 2017’s Billy Boy, which we got to talk to him about as well.
Corbin’s seen and worked in a full range of areas in the business. He went from an agency to a management firm, learning the language of actors and all about their day to day lives, before moving on to work with Casting Directors and finally become one in his own right. And he’s worked on some amazing projects as a casting director, including Monk, Revenge, Lucifer, Eureka, and, most recently, Cloak and Dagger.
Today we sit down with Artios award nominated casting director and stunt woman extraordinaire, Angelique Midthunder out of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Angelique got into the industry by answering a casting call on a whim, working in front of the camera, and then moving into the world of casting. She’s cast for movies like Hostiles, Captain Fantastic, Shot Caller, and Woman Walks Ahead. She also cast an episode of the upcoming Amazon series Too Old To Die Young by Nicolas Winding Refn and two series for Awesomeness TV, Tagged (all 3 seasons) and The Unsettling (not yet released).
Today we sit down with Casting Director, Art Aficionado, and Restaurateur, John Papsidera. John has had a hell of a career. Working with some of the top filmmakers across entertainment. with his work on TV shows like Westworld, Ray Donovan, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Army Wives, as well as his work in the movies, including Disney’s Enchanted, The Dark Knight, The Prestige, Ender’s Game, Intersteller, Jurassic World, Dunkirk, Pride, prejudice, and zombies-- the list goes on.
