One of our listeners requested that we discuss death, how we deal (or don't deal) with it in our culture, and the reasons for this tendency to pretend that death isn't an inevitable part of life. We agreed that there are costs and benefits with both options, and share our personal perspectives of these. Our topic for this episode is the world of on-line dating, and how it has evolved over the years. Gina shares her experiences in this realm over the past 10 years, including people pretending to be what they are not, and how all too often lonely people can be preyed upon by scammers. Several years when Gina and Bill first started talking about doing a podcast together, Bill said he wanted to be on the receiving end of Gina's therapy. In this session, that's what happened. Our topic was change, and how we manage it...and with Gina, Bill explored his decision to join the military, who he shared that decision with, and basically, how he coped with the change of leaving his very close-knit family and community, and going to a completely new environment.

In this episode we look at the concept of "Acceptance". Gina had shared a post about acceptance on Facebook, and we thought it would be interesting to look at what this idea means to each of us, and the fact that the meaning of the word can be misunderstood. Bill shared that he had, in the past, associated acceptance with complacency, and we clarified for both of us what the difference between these two ideas is.
