Hello Everyone! My guest this week, author Patti Reim, says she is a recovering people pleaser. I really like the way she phrases that. We should never be a doormat for anyone in any situation. That includes those of us who have done something so bad that it temporarily cost us our freedom. The debt has been paid. No one person has the right to hold your incarceration over your head and you should never grovel because of it. I feel very strongly about this. I see Patti's book as an exercise in learning how to better cope. Her book, I Like Big Buts, demonstrates that God was well aware that things are not going to go our way allmthe time. " But" there are ways to deal with disappointmnets, let-downs, broken hearts, and the hurdles that rise before us on our journey.  Check out my interview with Patti Reim and take a look at her book by clicking here. Remember, if God is for you, who can be against you?

Hi Everyone! Got any bad habbits? I do and I'd be willing to bet you may have one or two as well. Wouldn't it be great if we could get rid of those destructive behaviors and replace them with something more productive? Here's your chance! My guest this week, Dr. Sylvie Heyman, has written a book entitled, Make It A Habbit! Creating Health and Happiness For the Mind, Body, and Spirit . Dr. Sylvie has made it her work to study how bad habbits form and how to get rid of them. To take it a step further, she explains how to develop the kind of habbits that that move us in positive directions.  Remember, if God is for you, who can be against you?

Hi Everyone! Do you ever get pissed off? What a silly question! Of course you do and so does everyone else. Sometimes, that can get us into trouble. I've found over the years that if someone has a problem with controlling their anger, the solution to keeping that anger in check is essential. Me included.  On this week's podcast, I review 10 things we can do to keep our anger from getting us into trouble. It's my experience that this is not something that has a one time fix but takes continuous practice and implementation in order to work. The good news is that these things do work! As always,  remember that if God is for you, who can be against you.

Hi Yall!, I hope every one is well! We have a great guest this week. David Poggi is a life coach that draws on his life experiences to help people achieve their highest potential. He has experience working with ex-offenders in various settings and definitely knows what he's talking about. On this week's show, David discusses the obstacles that can hinder a successful re-entry. Everyone knows that jobs, finances, living situations, and many other things can be "obstacles".  Today however, we speak with David Poggi about behaviors as obstacles. David explains how because of unaddressed issues, we have "default" behaviors that can cause us trouble. Join me as David discusses how to identify and eliminate these behaviors. David has a very good blog which you can check out by clicking here. If God is for you, who can be against you?

Hello! Wouldn't it be great if we could figure out a way to channel our emotions into something positive? Take anger for example. Anger is an issue that most of us who have been incarcerated have to wrestle with. One option is to surpress it. Or, we can send it in a healthy direction. My guest this week, Dr. Ed Daube, has some techniques that can help us do the healthier latter.  Join me for my interview with Dr. Ed Daube as he explains how to use our emotions as tools. After the interview, check out Dr. Ed's new book, Emotions As Tools A Self Help Guide To Cntrolling Your Life Not Your Feelings. Always remember as you work through your reintegration, if God is for you, who can be against you?
