When your hear the name Denny Sturgis jr. you probably think dangerous game, and that reputation is earned, not everyone has touched a sleeping Asiatic Water Buffalo  and lived to tell about it. Denny however just hunts...... whether its Squirrels in the back 40 or Goats in Spain he loves bending the bow in pursuit of game. This led him to, with a partner, created Traditional Vision Quest. These instructional shooting videos have helped countless bowhunters of all skill levels become better shots.

We often throw the word "Legend" around, and it is a subjective term, however it is with great confidence I say our guest this week is a legend. Flip Pallot is widely know for his iconic fly fishing show that ran for 16 seasons titled The Walkers Cay Chronicle , he is a true pioneer in the outdoor film industry. John "Yohon" Deittrick is a bowhunter from Maryland who, due to his meticulous records keeping, saw he was approaching his 100th taken with a bow this year. Many of us followed along on social media as he reached the century mark and we at TSC's thought it would be fun to hear his story. We learned much about his dad who was a successful bowhunter in Maryland in the early sixties and who also was a meticulous records keeper. Harmon Carson is a young taxidermist and a Louisiana bowhunter who has had great success on mature whitetails, and Western big game. Matt and Tim were kind enough to chat with TSC crew and fill us in on their latest venture called The P.A.C.K. Along the way they share with us the story of how The Push Archery concept started, with one teaching the other the ropes of traditional archery. Since then they reached out to the best instructors around the country compiling audio and video instructions in an effort help others to learn and improve traditional archery skills.
