East Meets West Hunt

On this episode, I'm joined by accomplished public land whitetail hunters, Johnny Stewart and Greg Litzinger. These guys joined me for an overnight scouting trip in the Pennsylvania mountains this past weekend. I picked a spot on the map that none of us have been to and we collaborated on going in and speed scouting it for a day and a half. All three of us have different tactics when it comes to scouting and hunting, which was great to learn from these unique perspectives.

On this episode, I'm joined by Josh Boyd who is an accomplished mountain hunter from whitetails, elk and beyond, and a regular contributor to Rokslide. I brought Josh on the podcast to talk about hunting the big, old mountain whitetails that inhabit Montana, Idaho and Washington. We discuss the importance of all hunters being "influencers", elk hunting (of course), north woods whitetail hunting and much more!

Stefan tells me about how a recent trip to Africa changed his thoughts on what he perceived to be hunting there. We talk about eating the wide variety of wild game, spot and stalking the animals, and some bad luck during the long flight!
