Today’s Story (EP249): Lion Around the Pool: a short story for kids  (From Cozy Corner Podcast) Today's bedtime story excerpt: The sun heated the land easily since the sky was completely clear. The little lion looked up at the bright blue sky and closed his eyes. It was nice to feel warm. Leroy opened and closed his mouth noticing it was dry and sticky. The little lion was feeling thirsty. He got up and stretched, then began to search for a refreshing drink. Usually, Leroy could find a little puddle. The little lion looked and looked. The ground was dry. There were no puddles to sip. Leroy would have to go to the pool, if he wanted water today. Just thinking of the pool made Leroy shake. He felt afraid of the water. It seemed so deep, he might fall in and disappear. Still, he felt really thirsty. The little lion took a deep dragon breath in and out (deep breath) to help him feel more brave. And off he went.
