Episode 569 J.R. Martinez is a First Class Father, Actor, Motivational Speaker and United States Army Veteran. J.R. was deployed to Iraq and was driving a Humvee when its left front tire hit an IED. As a result he suffered smoke inhalation and severe burns to more than 34 percent of his body. He spent 34 months at BAMC and has undergone 33 plastic surgery and skin graft surgeries. He became a motivational speaker and began providing support to fellow burn survivors while being treated for his burn injuries. In 2008, J.R. was cast in ABC's daytime drama “All My Children” as Brot Monroe. Despite having to relearn how to walk, he competed on and won Season 13 of ABC's “Dancing with the Stars”. Episode 564 Bobby Valentine is a First Class Father and MLB Legend. Bobby Valentine was the fifth player chosen in the 1968 draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers, but his major league playing career was cut short by a broken leg several years later. He began his managerial career in 1985 with the Texas Rangers, before going on to manage the Chiba Lotte Marines; the New York Mets, whom he took to the 2000 World Series; and the Boston Red Sox. A second stint with the Marines resulted in the team winning the Japan Series and Asia Series in 2005. In 2002, he was awarded the Branch Rickey Award for his donations to and personal work with survivors of the 9/11 attacks. In 2018, the Emperor of Japan bestowed upon him the Order of the Rising Sun. He has also worked as an analyst for ESPN. Currently, he is the executive director of athletics at Sacred Heart University, the proprietor of the Bobby Valentine Sports Academy, and an owner of Makuhari Media, a company that produces sports documentaries. Episode 562 Noah Galloway is a First Class Father and Combat Veteran and Purple Heart recipient who joined the United States Army after the attacks on 9/11. On December 19, 2005, during his second deployment, he was severely injured in an IED attack in Yusufiah, Iraq. Episode 559 Congressman Jim Jordan is a First Class Father and United States representative for Ohio's 4th congressional district. He is the Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee and former Ranking Member of the House Oversight Committee. Congressman Jordan is also a founding member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus. Before he began his career in politics, Jim Jordan was a two-time NCAA Division I wrestling champion at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Prior to college he won state championships all four years he was in high school and compiled a 156–1 win-loss record. He went on to coach wrestling at the Ohio State University, while also earning a master’s degree. Episode 558 Willie Gault is a First Class Father and NFL Legend. He was one of the fastest players in NFL history and was also a member of the U.S. Olympic team that boycotted the 1980 Olympics. Willie played his college football at Tennessee before being drafted with the 18th pick of the first round by the Chicago Bears in the 1983 NFL Draft. He was an integral part of the 1985 Bears team which was one of the most dominating NFL teams of all time and winners of Super Bowl XX. That year, Willie led the team in receiving yards and had a game-leading 129 yards in the Super Bowl. He finished his NFL career with the Los Angeles Raiders. After his retirement from the NFL Willie returned to the track and competed in Masters athletics where he set a number of World Records and was inducted into the USATF Masters Hall of Fame.
