A new year brings new things. We anticipate joys and acceleration. But, some of us look forward using the same, incorrect views and philosophies that kept us from excelerating the previous year. As we prepare to receive a new year and as always reflect on what we will leave behind, may we also pay close attention to what might have been missing from our lives. Our final discussion of 2017 centers on the impact that God has had on our lives. This new year presents an additional opportunity to open our hearts, minds, and souls to God. Allow this message to encourage you to accept God's love for you and if you have not, open the door of your hearts to him. It's that special time of the year. The time that Santa is expected and the time when we often are able to reflect with those whom we love as we exchange gifts. Gifts are an important part of the Christmas celebration. As our society continues to develop, we often put extra emphasis on the size, quantity, and cost of the gifts we give each other. Though we feel the bigger or more expensive the gift, the more impact our gift will have. Our message today subjects gifts but it details the most significant and life-altering gift we all have ever received.

People every day, all over the world accept Jesus as their Savior. However, like most relationships, we fail to learn what we need to do to have the best experience. Scripture tells us three things we must do to feel God and to gain the most out of the gift he has graced us with. This gift is the blessing of Jesus Christ. please LISTEN, SUBSCRIBE, and ENJOY! One of the more serious issues we have with ourselves that keeps us from having a relationship with God is our past. Now, God tells us to bring our transgressions to him and he will forgive and forget them. But, for some reason, we hold onto our history, specifically the parts that are uncomfortable. This creates a partition between us and God and the relationship we desire and need becomes further and further away from reality. This message discusses the nedd to trust God, hand over our past and allow him to guide us to the destiny he has prepard for us.

Let's just say it, Life is hard. We all struggle. Family, friends, jobs, bills, no matter what it is, at times it can be very difficult. But, what happens when we find ourselves STUCK in the same position and we can't seem to get out? What about those times we can't get free from the result of a decision we made in our past? We tend to get STUCK and allow the weight and pressure from these things to bring us down. This week on REG4L, we talk being STUCK and how God may be trying to prepare us for the next stage in our lives. We also point out that God sometimes contains us to avert events that may due us harm. One of the benefits of being a Christian is the access we have to our God. Our connection with Jesus is direct and we do not need an intermediary to have contact with him. But, how many of us have been told something different? How many of us believe that in order to hear our God we must entrust the services of another human? This message discusses the fact that the only persons between us and God are Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
