This is part 1 of 2 of a bit of AA history but it may not be for everyone, so if you are feeling the need for a speaker meeting pick something else from our list. This is an H & I Conference, that features some significant figures in AA's history, John, Col. Edward Towns (as in Towns Hospital) and Sr. Ignatia in part 1. This meeting was a Bill W anniversary dinner at a World Service Delegates event in NY in 1988. The first speaker is Jack G from Scotland followed by Elsie T from New Zealand, the final speaker is Tim from NY. They are all world service delegates.

Yesterday our speaker was Ann P and she mentioned one of the folks that really helped her in her sobriety was a gent named Norm A from Monrovia CA. So I thought why not feature him today, Norm got sober at the beginning of 1954 and at the time of this speak on Unity Day in San Jose, CA in the summer of 1982 he had been sober for 28 years, this was his last talk.
