Spencer McDonald is an established real estate photographer from Washington, who has recently added a drone to his photography arsenal. Listen in as Spencer discusses how drones have helped him get some property shots that he wouldn't have been able to capture with standard photography.

As soon as I saw that Danielle had shot the drone work for The Revenant, I knew that I had to get her on what show. How many people can say that they've flown their drones on a blockbuster featuring Leonardo DiCaprio? Not many! Anyway, I don't want to wreck the movie for anyone that hasn't seen it yet, but be sure to check it out and watch for Danielle's drone shots!

I was referred to Jason and Blake from BoE systems by Ryan Murphy, who some of you may remember from podcast episode 5. Ryan has recently started working with BoE Systems and their drone LiDAR solution, and recommended getting them on the show to help spread their good word. Jason and Blake have developed an affordable drone LiDAR system, where subcontractors can lease their equipment rather than forking over the full price for a very expensive drone LiDAR system.

I came across John on Facebook after reading a post about how he and his wife were able to save up enough money to pay for In Vitro, and grow their family. Yeah, drones are now directly responsible for some little twins that are going to be coming into the world later this year! Congrats John! Anyway back to what John is doing with drones! He's shooting a lot of real estate, as well as doing video hyper lapses of new construction projects, and even mapping and modelling!

Guilherme Goinhas is one of the very few operators that I've spoken with that is conducting indoor industrial inspections with the Flyability Elios drone system. I remember seeing the Elios on a few videos online, however it's great to hear from someone that is actually using this unique drone for a commercial purpose. Want a sneak peek into the coolest thing that Shawn Hileman mentioned on the show? Well, it's that he is also an Uber driver, and has managed to get some drone jobs by talking to his Uber customers!

Bill takes us through his adventure of creating a YouTube show, where he reviews drones and speaks about the industry as a whole. The best part? Bill is buying these drones with his own money, not being paid by any of the specific drone manufacturers. One of the coolest things that I found out after talking to Bill, is that Autel paid for his Part 107! They apparently sent him a gift card after he purchased the drone to pay for the exam. Talk about a great way to entice your pilots to fly legally!

This week's episode features Chris Dantonio, a drone operator from Philadelphia. Chris has a wicked eye for photography, and has some excellent photos on his Instagram account. Listen in as Chris discusses how he markets his business via Instagram, as well as tips for who he tags and mentions in his posts to get the most reach possible. In addition to marketing via Instagram, Chris is also selling prints of his work through his website and in person photo shows!

You can tell by listening to this episode that Yanga and Kai are passionate about their drone business Drone Ltd. Liberia, and are getting involved in some very cool shots such as Monkey Island! After hearing my podcast interview with Tania Esteban of the BBC, Yanga and Kai reached out and offered to share their experiences with working in a country without any drone regulations.
