This week on Thick Skin we start with a "Fan Slam" of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. After that, I invite my good friend, the legendary Tony O to the bunker for a rare interview. We reminisce about his times as manager for Frank Sinatra and of course, Don Rickles. Also joining me, journalist Julie Seabaugh is here to discuss her new book "Ringside at Roastbattle". The episode ends with a “Roast in Peace” tribute to The Bandit himself, Burt Reynolds.
I invited a couple friends over to talk about my summer vacation, my roast battle against Blake Griffin -- and the recent losses of John McCain, Aretha Franklin, Neil Simon and Robin Leach. It was cathartic.
