On this episode Remi and I are talking about some of the specific types of gear that we use while hunting. Not necessarily anything brand specific but we try to keep an honest and open opinion of what has worked best for us. We tried to go over as many as we could of the most common questions that we get. From boots to backpacks. Download Episode 018
On this episode of the podcast I am on location in deep West Texas with my good friend Riley Worwood and his daughter Hallie. We have just spent the last week chasing Free Range aoudad Sheep, Scimitar Oryx and Stink Pigs. This week was a blast. Riley and I have a lot in common. So having a deep and honest conversation is always easy with Riley. We talk about hunting private land vs public land, buying hunts vs drawing limited tags and much more. I hope you enjoy this open and honest conversation that went late into the night. Download Episode 017
On this episode of the podcast we are on a DIY Coues Deer hunt in Mexico on one of Jay Scott's ranch leases. We have myself, Remi, Jason Warren, Joe Dibble, Mike Marchese and John Lesperance. These guys have been running in a pack for a long time and 7 years ago decided to start planning a hunt for Coues to Mexico. Hunting the Rut with Rifles. Late in this conversation we discuss Mikes run in with the Mexican Police, if it is really possible to eat too many beans, are warning shots ok, trigger happy hunters, mouth mimicry of wild animals, trash talking and keeping the hunt interesting. This weeks hunt was super fun. And hopefully we can get the crew together again soon for another great adventure. Download Episode 016
In this episode I sit down with my new neighbor Jason and get to know more about his very recent journey to get into hunting. Most people start hunting when they're young and have an adult teacher to help guide them along the way. But Jason is different. He's only recently taken up hunting after his own "come to reality" moment with some pet chickens. We discuss the learning process, his first experiences and his latest hunt where he bagged his first cow elk. I think this is an awesome conversation. Thank you Jason for letting me raz you a little and learn from you a lot. Download Episode 015
On this episode I'm in the shop of Nevada Taxidermy with my good friend Wayne Comstock. Taxidermy shops are like the bow shop. Often the local hangout and always full of stories, horns and racks. Wayne gets to meet and spend time with loads of hunters from all over the world and loves to discuss hunting philosophy and techniques with all of them. I wanted to take some time to sit down and share some of the wisdom he has learned over the years from his own experiences as well as those experiences in passing with other hunters. This was a great conversation that I learned a lot from. Thanks Wayne! Download Episode 014
In this episode of the Podcast I sit down with other Podcast host Brian Call from his Gritty Bowmen Podcast. This is the FIRST of FOUR episodes we recorded during a week long hunt together in Oklahoma. We talk about branding, marketing and business. But that's not all. My conversations seem to always turn to wildlife management, public land, being a good representative of the hunting culture and not being a Jack Ass to point out a few. Brian and I are far from perfect, but we have passion and a common goal in mind for the direction we choose to take our brands and represent the hunting community to those outside our friendship circles. Hunting is not just something we do. It is who we are. But we that doesn't mean we can just do and say as we please without a care for how others who don't share in our outdoor lifestyles perceive hunting. To them, hunting is what they see. So it is up to us to show hunting in a way that is more consumable to the non hunting voting class. Download Episode 013
On this episode Remi and I sit down and discus Bighorn Sheep. The conversation quickly turns to Wild or Feral Horses and the problems that they are causing top the recover and management efforts of the Bighorn Sheep in the West and Habitat management. Remi is very passionate about Bighorn Sheep. And that is why we work with and support groups like the Wild Sheep Foundation and Nevada Bighorns Unlimited. None of us want to see the Wild Horse get hurt, but we also don't want to see the Wild Sheep be overrun by an introduced Feral species either. The horses need to be managed. And right now the government and wild horse advocates do not have a management strategy. And for that, the horses, sheep, deer and other native species suffer. Download Episode 012
On this episode of the podcast I sit down once again with Remi Warren. We talk about a giant buck he shot in Montana and discuss some of his tricks for tracking game. Remi is fresh off his guiding season in Montana and is sharing stories from some of his hunts with clients and he shares his passion for sharing his experience and expertise with new hunters to help shorten their learning curve. Things get a little cowboy in this podcast, but then again I don't think I would have it any other way. Download Episode 011
On this episode I sit down with my little brother Boyd and his lifelong buddy Seth Larson. We discuss Boyds late season elk hunt on a rare limited draw tag and tell stories from when we were feral kids growing up in the wild. Boyd and Seth go on rants telling hunting stories and a rare look into our background I also discuss the release of a new film I produced called "Public Land Ranch". Download Episode 010

On this Podcast Episode Remi and Isit down and discuss using OnX Hunting maps to hunt anywhere in the West, the hunting over bait and trail camera debate, hunters hurting other hunters by social media bashing and adding fuel to the anti hunters fire with stupid irrelevant content. This was part two of a 3 part series of podcast episodes that Remi and I sat down and recorded. Download Episode 008
On this podcast Remi and I have some time to sit down in Remi’s man space to talk about tag strategy and draw odds as well as Remi’s most recent trip to Alaska, hunting Caribou with the Under Armour film crew. Download Episode 007

On this episode I break from my deer hunt in Utah to have a sit down with my brand manager Joel Pilcher. The guy has had his hand in some of the most influential brands in and out of the industry. Follow him on Instagram @joelpilch and see his artwork at trophymtnart.com. Download Episode 005
On this podcast I met Ryan Lampers in a hotel parking lot in Elko Nevada to talk about his recent success on an early season bow hunt for Mule Deer. Ryan slammed a giant and I want to pick his brain and get a few tips on the area he hunted for myself. Ryan has a motto... Stealthy and healthy. Hunt good, eat good. Healthy living and hardy training are what make Ryan Lampers successful on the mountain every season and on multiple hunts. Download Episode 004
