There might have been a lot of chaos and carnage throughout the opening weekend of the 2018 NCAA Tournament, but the Villanova Wildcats were able to avoid the madness. They enjoyed convincing wins over the Radford Highlanders and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Now, the 'Cats are headed for their second Sweet 16 in three years. Unfortunately, there won't be any other Big East teams joining them this year, as the five other Big East squads were eliminated in the first weekend. We pour one out for them and react to the weekend that was. Meanwhile, the Villanova women's basketball team participated in its first NCAA Tournament since 2013. Although it couldn't move onto the Sweet 16, Villanova was able to get its first NCAA Tournament win since 2004.
