It’s been one year of podcasting greatness and Joe has a bunch of people he wants to thank.  Plus Joe talks about one of the things he hates the most, waiting in line. Finally, Joe rates listener hate on lines.

Joe and Jake try to solve (or just complain about) the problems with news.  Here comes the Hair-a-cane. Awww. It got downgraded. Then Joe Rates listener hate and there is a special guest appearance from Dave Bittner for The Cyberwire.

This week Joe and Jake talk at length about something no other podcast has covered in this depth, cat puke.  Joe talks about the horrors of cat puke, and his 3 cats.  He also talks about Kevin, the dog that made him like dogs and cats playing Ding Dong Ditch.  As always Joe rates listener hate and there’s a lot to rate this time around.

This week opens with a special guest.  Joe talks to Juliette Miranda from The Unwritable Rant about her hatred for cake.  Then Joe and Jake get into the hate where Joe talks about how he hates fruit as a dessert, Jello based desserts, and anything that contains raisins.  Then they get into the listener hate where there is much pearl clutching at the audacity of the listeners to hate what Joe and Jake love.

Guess what!  It’s not another grab bag episode.  In this episode, Joe talks about some human behaviors that he hates.  Joe hates on Luddites, dodgy answers to simple questions, and more. Plus as always, Joe rates listener hate. If you pay attention, you will hear inadvertently use the word “synergy” with no sarcastic intent.

Another grab bag episode?  Yep, another grab bag episode.  This week Joe talks about being old enough to be mistaken for a grandfather, plus Joe hates on face painting, embarrassing himself on social media, and more.  Plus, as always, Joe rates your hate.

Joe talks about his misophonia, specifically silverware on teeth, "Fourth of July," hairy soap, and more.  Plus, Joe rates hate from Tom, just Tom.  No, don't ask.  This will only be done once and only for Tom.

It’s a grab bag episode.  Joe talks about how he hates some oddly specific things and some things that everyone probably hates.  Topics covered include, unbuttoned sleeves, raccoons getting into his trash and beaches on lakes, which Joe is strangely passionate about.  Plus, joe rates a grab bag of listener hate

This week we have an unexpected topic as Joe tells the story of his latest visit to the ER and shares his experience with his DVT.  Joe goes on to hate a couple of related things and outs CVS for sucking as bad as they do.  Plus, Joe rates a grab bag of istener hate, because this was suppose to be a grab bag episode.

In this episode, Joe and Jake talk about patronizing children, negotiating with children, anti-vaxers and more.  Plus Joe rates your hate. We decided during the recording of this episode, there will be no parenting part 2.  

Why can’t car dealers be decent people?  Why do some mechanics have to be awful? This week Joe shares a few stories of the shenanigans these people pull.  All of these stories are true, 100% true. Plus Joe rates listener hate on the subject.

There is nothing Joe likes about losing stuff so you know there is so much to hate.  This week Joe and Jake talk about losing stuff like lip balm and socks. Joe shares how his behavior changes when he’s looking for something.  The discussion turns to one of quantum mechanics and there is a special (albeit brief) appearance by Lisa from Upstairs. Plus, Joe rates a ton of listener hate on the subject.

It’s an extra long episode (26 minutes) to make up for being a day late.  Joe hates on poor personal fashion sense.
